Admission Requirements
- Higher National Diploma (HND):
- Must possess a National Diploma (ND) from Auchi Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification from other NBTE-accredited institutions.
- The ND must be in the same course intended for the HND programme.
- JAMB Requirement:
- Candidates must have been admitted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Those without a JAMB admission letter and registration number for their ND programme are ineligible and may not be mobilized for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- O’Level Requirements:
- Must have five (5) Ordinary Level credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two (2) sittings, including Mathematics and English Language, from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
- Industrial Experience:
- Must have at least one year of Post-National Diploma (ND) Industrial Training (IT) or two years of relevant work experience.
Method of Application
- Online Application:
- Visit the Polytechnic website: Auchi Polytechnic Application Portal
- Complete the application form with accurate details.
- Generate Payment Reference:
- Provide a username (preferably your phone number) and a password. Record these for future logins.
- Click “Generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).”
- Payment:
- Take the generated RRR to a designated bank or use any Remita-approved payment channel to process your payment of N2,000.
- Allow some time for the payment to be processed before returning to the portal.
- Complete Application:
- Log in with your username and password.
- Continue with your application form, upload a passport photograph and scanned copies of required credentials.
- Print the acknowledgment slip, two copies of the application form, and the application summary sheet.
- Submit Documents:
- Enclose two sets of photocopies of your credentials, e-receipt of Remita payment, birth certificate, and two recent passport-sized photographs in an envelope.
Note: Payments must be made through the Auchi Polytechnic portal. Payments made on other platforms are invalid. The portal is integrated with Remita for secure transactions.
