ATBU ITCU Notice to Students Proceeding for SIWES; The Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ITCU) has issued an important notice to all students of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) who are preparing to proceed for the Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). All affected students are advised to strictly comply with the following guidelines.
SIWES Guidelines for ATBU Students
1. Payment of School Fees
Students must settle all outstanding school fees, including the sum of ₦35,000 for the current academic session.
2. I.T. Programme Registration
All students are required to complete their Industrial Training (I.T.) registration through the students’ portal.
3. E-SIWES Registration
Students must register on the E-SIWES portal at
https://e-siwes.atbu.edu.ng
Access to the E-SIWES portal will only be granted after full payment of school fees and completion of I.T. registration. The portal enables students to:
- Download I.T. letters
- Complete biodata forms for SIWES allowances
- Identify assigned supervisors
4. Submission of Acceptance Letters
Students are required to submit Acceptance Letters from their respective SIWES placement organizations to the ITCU on or before 20 February 2026.
SIWES Logbook Information
The sale of SIWES logbooks is currently ongoing at the cost of ₦3,000. Students will only be issued logbooks at the ITCU office upon presentation of a verified Remita payment receipt.
