About the Award
The One Young World Summit gathers inspiring leaders worldwide, but the real work begins afterward. As a Delegate, you become a One Young World Ambassador, dedicated to making a difference in your community, organization, or country.
Coordinating Ambassadors are key to fostering these efforts by bridging the One Young World team in London and the global network of over 18,700 Ambassadors. Together, they’ve positively impacted 50.42+ million lives through initiatives since 2010.
What Does the Role Involve?
As a Coordinating Ambassador, you’ll:
- Plan and oversee regional activities like events, meetups, roundtables, and volunteering.
- Collaborate with regional leadership teams.
- Highlight outstanding Ambassadors through the “Ambassador Spotlight.”
- Contribute content to regional newsletters and social media accounts.
- Build stronger connections among Ambassadors in your region.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
- Be a current One Young World Ambassador (having attended a previous Summit).
- Have strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Be action-oriented with a passion for One Young World’s mission.
- Enjoy connecting and building relationships.
- Be able to dedicate 3-4 hours per week to the role.
- Have personal access to a computer and internet.

How to Apply
- Complete the application form by December 8, 2024.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an informal interview.
- Selected Coordinating Ambassadors will serve from January 2025 to December 2026.
