MAPOLY ND Part-Time Courses and Requirements

  1. Accountancy
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
    • Note: Requires a credit in at least one of Economics, Commerce, Principle of Accounts, or Book Keeping.
  2. Banking & Finance
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
    • Note: Requires a credit in at least one of Economics, Commerce, Principle of Accounts, or Book Keeping.
  3. Business Administration
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
    • Note: Requires a credit in one of Economics or Commerce.
  4. Marketing
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
    • Note: Requires a credit in one of Economics or Commerce.
  5. Science Laboratory Technology
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four subjects at one sitting or five subjects at two sittings, including Mathematics, with at least a pass in English. Credit in two basic science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science) and a pass in the third.
  6. Food Technology
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four subjects at one sitting or five subjects at two sittings, including Mathematics, with at least a pass in English. Credit in two basic science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science) and a pass in the third.
    • Note: Requires a pass in Physics.
  7. Pharmaceutical Technology
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four subjects at one sitting or five subjects at two sittings, including Mathematics, with at least a pass in English. Credit in two basic science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science) and a pass in the third.
    • Note: Requires a credit in Biology, not Agric. Science, and accepts a pass in Physics.
  8. Computer Science
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four subjects at one sitting or five subjects at two sittings, including Mathematics, with at least a pass in English. Credit in two basic science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science) and a pass in the third.
    • Note: Requires a credit in English Language, Physics/Basic Electronics/Electricity.
  9. Hospitality Management
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, and one of Biology, Agric. Science, or Food and Nutrition. Two other credits from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Statistics, Commerce/Economics, Health Science, Food & Nutrition/Home Economics/Catering Craft, Geography, Government, Technical Drawing, or one Nigerian language (Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa).
  10. Leisure & Tourism
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, and Geography. Two other credits from Economics/Commerce, History, Book Keeping, Principles of Accounts, Mathematics, Fine Arts, French, Food & Nutrition, Home Economics, Government, and one Nigerian language (Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa).
  11. Nutrition and Dietetics
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four or five subjects at not more than two sittings, including Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, with at least a pass in English Language and Physics. Two other credits from Physics, Economics/Commerce, English Language, Home Economics, Food and Nutrition.
  12. Estate Management
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and one of Physics/Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science. Credit in any of the listed subjects: Geography, Government, Principle of Account, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts.
  13. Quantity Surveying
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four subjects at one sitting or five subjects at not more than two sittings. Subjects must include Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry, with at least a pass in English language. Two or three additional credits in Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Engineering Drawing, Geography, Economics, Biology/Agric. Science, Further Mathematics.
  14. Building Technology
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four subjects at one sitting or five subjects at not more than two sittings. Subjects must include Mathematics, Physics, and English Language. Two other credits in Technical Drawing, Metal Work/Wood Work, Further Mathematics, Geography, Biology/Agric. Science, Chemistry, and Economics.
  15. Art and Industrial Design
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four subjects at one sitting or five subjects at not more than two sittings, including Mathematics, with at least a pass in English Language. Three or four other credits from Biology/Agric. Science, English Language, Fine Art/Visual Art/Cultural and Creative Art/Dye and Bleaching, Chemistry, History/Government, Literature in English, Clothing and Textiles, Geography, Economics/Commerce, Religious Knowledge, Technical Drawing, Home Economics.
  16. Urban and Regional Planning
    • Requirements: Credit passes in four subjects at one sitting or five subjects at not more than two sittings, including Mathematics, English, and one from Physics/Chemistry/Biology. Two or three other credits from Biology/Agric. Science, Chemistry, Physics, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics/Commerce, Fine Arts/Technical Drawing, Government/History, Religious Knowledge, and one Nigerian Language.
  17. Electrical/Electronic Engineering
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. One other credit from Metal Work, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Basic Electricity/Electronics, Biology/Agric.   18. Civil Engineering

    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics. Any three other credits from History, Literature in English, Economics/Commerce, Fine Arts, French, Government, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Typewriting, Principles of Accounts, and one Nigerian language (Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa), Religious Studies (CRK/IRK). A minimum pass in Literature in English is required.
  22. Office Technology & Management
    • Requirements: Credit passes in five subjects at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics. Any three other credits from History, Literature in English, Economics/Commerce, Fine Arts, French, Government, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Typewriting, Principles of Accounts, and one Nigerian language (Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa), Religious Studies (CRK/IRK).
    • Note: Accepts credit pass in Shorthand.

  • Possess qualifications from NECO, SSCE, WASCE, GCE O’Level, NABTEB, or their equivalents.
  • Visit the JAMB office to apply and complete the JAMB part-time application form.
  • Only eligible applicants with evidence of completed JAMB part-time application forms will be considered for admission.
