Admission Criteria & Requirements
Eligibility:
- Candidates must have completed Secondary Education.
- Candidates must score a minimum of 160 in the UTME.
- Candidates must have 5 credit passes in related subjects at the ordinary level examinations (WAEC, NECO, IGSCE, NABTEB, etc.), including Mathematics and English Language. However, for the Departments of English and Linguistics, French, History, and International Studies, a credit pass in Mathematics is not required.

- A non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Prospective Students:
- Visit the Anchor University Application Portal.
- Click on “PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS.”
- Create an account by clicking the “Click To Apply” button and filling out the pre-registration form using a valid email address and a choice password.
- Check your email to activate the account you created.
- Log in with the email address and password you created.
- Select your programme of choice.
- Fill out the application form in steps and save.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000.
- After successful payment, print the receipt.
- Note your Application Number for subsequent logins.
- Complete the application form and print the summary.
- Check your email regularly for notification of invitation for Screening.
- If Invited for Screening:
- Click on the screening invitation link sent to your email.
- Log in with your Application Number and password and follow the steps.
- Fresh Students:
- Fresh students are those who have accepted the admission offer by paying the Acceptance Fee.
- Click on “FRESH STUDENTS.”
- Log in to your portal with your Application Number and Password.
- Pay your School Fee and Accommodation Fee following the instructions on the portal.
- Returning Students:
- Click on “RETURNING STUDENTS.”
- Log in to your portal with your Matriculation Number and Password.
- Pay your School Fee and Accommodation Fee following the instructions on the portal.
