AOU Undergraduate Admission Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
  • Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings

Direct Entry Option:
Candidates with NCE, ND, HND, or equivalent qualifications may be considered for admission into higher levels, subject to university evaluation.


AOU Postgraduate Admission Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with at least Second Class Lower in a relevant field
  • Candidates with Third Class must have at least five (5) years relevant work experience
  • HND holders with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) may apply
  • Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics
  • Official academic transcript required

AOU Top-Up Degree Programme

This programme is designed for candidates who want to upgrade or convert their qualifications:

  • Open to HND holders seeking a full Bachelor’s Degree
  • Also available to Third-Class or Pass Degree holders aiming to improve their grade
