AIFUE Post UTME and Direct Entry Admission Form for 2026/2027 Session

AIFUE Post UTME and Direct Entry Admission Form for 2026/2027 Session; Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education (AIFUE), Owerri, has commenced the sale of Post UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for admission into its undergraduate degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The admission exercise is open to qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into various programmes across the university’s faculties.

Eligibility for AIFUE Post UTME

Candidates who scored 150 and above in the UTME are eligible to apply for the screening exercise.

Applicants must also ensure that their O’Level results have been uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal, as failure to do so may result in disqualification from the admission process.

Direct Entry Requirements

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must possess any of the following qualifications in relevant disciplines:

  • NCE
  • HND
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A’Level qualifications
  • Other approved equivalent qualifications

Applicants can apply through either the Direct Entry or Post-NCE admission route, depending on their qualification.

Change of Institution

Candidates who did not initially select AIFUE as their first-choice institution can still apply. However, they must first change their institution of choice to AIFUE through any accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office before completing the application process.

How to Apply

Follow the steps below to complete the application: Candidates are to visit the Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education website

  1. Visit the AIFUE official portal.
  2. Click on AIFUE Portal.
  3. Select Post UTME or Direct Entry Screening Form.
  4. Enter your JAMB registration number.
  5. Complete your profile details.
  6. Choose the appropriate programme type (Degree Regular or Direct Entry/Post-NCE).
  7. Submit and print the generated invoice.
  8. Make payment through Remita at Alvana Microfinance Bank or any commercial bank.
  9. Return to the portal to complete registration.
  10. Upload all required documents.
  11. Submit the application form.
  12. Print the confirmation/success page.

Required Documents

Applicants are expected to upload the following:

  • Recent passport photograph
  • O’Level result(s)
  • Birth certificate
  • Local Government Identification Letter

Important Notice

Candidates must upload their qualifying results on JAMB CAPS. Completion of the university screening form alone does not guarantee consideration for admission if the results are not uploaded to JAMB.

Applicants are advised to carefully review all information entered before submission and keep a printed copy of the success page for reference.
