AFIT Remedial Admission Form 2025/2026. The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, is now accepting applications into its School of Basic and Remedial Studies for the 2025/2026 academic session. The remedial programme is designed for candidates who:

- Did not meet the JAMB cut-off mark
- Have deficiencies in their O’Level results
- Need a structured academic pathway to qualify for full undergraduate admission
This one-session (two-semester) programme offers a second chance to meet entry requirements for degree programmes at AFIT and other institutions.
Who Should Apply
You are eligible to apply if:
- You did not attain the minimum JAMB score for university admission
- You applied to AFIT or any other tertiary institution
- You have some O’Level credits but are yet to meet the full subject requirements (especially in English or Mathematics)
Entry Requirements
For Social and Management Sciences:
- Five O’Level credits (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) in no more than two sittings
- Mandatory credits in English Language and Mathematics
- At least two other credits from Social Arts or Social Science subjects
For Engineering and Sciences:
- Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- Also limited to a maximum of two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB
Programme Duration
- The remedial programme spans one academic session, divided into two semesters
- It includes classroom instruction, continuous assessments, and final examinations
Post-Programme Admission
Candidates who:
- Successfully complete the remedial programme
- Meet the UTME cut-off for their chosen course
…may be considered for admission into AFIT undergraduate programmes, based on performance and the availability of slots in the relevant department.
How to Apply

- Visit the AFIT Remedial Application Portal
- Select the 2025/2026 Remedial Programme link
- Fill in your details accurately on the online form
- Make a non-refundable payment of ₦10,000 via Interswitch using an ATM card
- Print the completed application form—this will be required during registration along with your O’Level result slip
Application Timeline
- Opening Date: 27 June 2025
- Closing Date: 26 July 2025
Ensure you complete your application before the deadline. Late submissions will not be entertained, and last-minute delays due to network or payment issues can be avoided by applying early.
