ACT Foundation Grant Objectives
The ACT Foundation seeks to create sustainable communities through partnerships with institutions and donors. It provides grants to non-profits working on impactful projects that align with the foundation’s focus areas.
Focus Areas for ACT Foundation Grant

The foundation funds projects within the following four key areas:
- Health: Malaria, cancer (breast, cervical, prostate), maternal and child health.
- Entrepreneurship: Vocational education, skills acquisition, financial literacy, and inclusion.
- Environment: Waste management, water, and sanitation.
- Leadership: Youth leadership development and thought leadership.
Only projects falling within these focus areas will be considered for funding.
Eligibility Criteria for ACT Foundation Grant

To be eligible for the grant, organizations must:
- Operate in one of the four focus areas: Health, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, or Environment.
- Be legally registered in an African country for at least two years.
- Be a non-profit organization or social enterprise focusing on non-profit initiatives.
- Have a clear governance structure as reflected in registration documents.
- Demonstrate evidence of other funding sources.
- Employ a minimum of three part-time or full-time staff members.
- Be responsible for managing and implementing the project.
The following entities are ineligible:
- Individuals.
- Organizations with a history of mismanaging funds.
- Political entities.
- Organizations engaged in illegal activities or terrorism.
Application Process for ACT Foundation Grant
Successful applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal, including a detailed budget. After an independent review, selected organizations will move on to interviews and site visits for final consideration.
