The Directorate of Part-Time Studies at ABUAD is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking to pursue academic advancement without compromising their professional or personal commitments.


Flexible Degrees for Ambitious Learners

ABUAD’s part-time programmes are structured to mirror the academic quality and degree standards of its full-time programmes. The only distinction lies in delivery—students benefit from flexible class schedules, cost-effective tuition, and off-campus residency, enabling them to balance education with work or other responsibilities.

The university also offers Top-Up programmes for:

  • HND holders looking to earn a BSc degree
  • Graduates with Third Class or Pass degrees seeking academic upgrades

All part-time courses are fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Admission is open for 100 Level, 200 Level, and Top-Up (Direct Entry) candidates, based on qualifications.

  • 100 Level Entry: 4 years (12 terms)
  • 200 Level Entry: 3 years (9 terms)
  • Top-Up Programme: 2 years (6 terms)
    Each term spans 15 weeks, including lectures, revision, and examinations.
