ABU Zaria 2025 Post UTME & Direct Entry Screening. Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has opened its screening portal for the 2025/2026 Post UTME and Direct Entry admission process. If you made ABU your first-choice institution, scored at least 180 in UTME, or hold valid Direct Entry credentials, you’re eligible to apply.

Monday, 4 August to Thursday, 21 August 2025
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
- Only first-choice candidates
- UTME applicants must score 180 or above
- DE applicants must have valid qualifications (e.g., A-Level, NCE, Diploma, IJMB)
How to Apply
- Visit the ABU screening portal between 4 and 21 August
- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000
- Payment can be made online using ATM cards or by generating a payment slip for bank use
- Do not travel to Zaria just to make payments; the entire process is online
Important Note on Subject Combinations
Before submitting your application, check that your JAMB subject combination matches the requirements of your chosen course. If it doesn’t, make corrections on the JAMB portal before applying. ABU won’t correct it for you.

Where to Appear for Screening
Candidates must bring original copies of their JAMB registration slip and Post UTME registration slip to any of the following venues on their scheduled date:
- Iya Abubakar Institute of Information and Computing Technology (IAIICT)
- Distance Learning Centre (DLC)
- ABU CBT Centre
Note: No registration slip, no screening.
Final Warning
Fail to register by 21 August, and you’re out—no exceptions. If ABU is your goal, don’t wait until the last minute. Make sure your documents and subject combinations are in order.
