ABSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Form for 2025/2026. Abia State University (ABSU) has commenced its Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. All eligible candidates—whether ABSU was your first choice or not—are invited to apply.
Who Can Apply?
The screening is open to:
- UTME candidates who selected ABSU as first or second choice.
- Candidates who did not initially choose ABSU but are willing to apply via change of institution.
- UTME applicants with a score of 150 and above.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
- Candidates with at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects.
How to Apply
All application steps are completed online. Follow the process below:
Step 1: Log in to the ABSU Portal
Visit the official ABSU Post UTME portal. You will need your JAMB registration number, a valid email address, and your O’Level result details.
Step 2: Pay the Screening Fee
The non-refundable screening fee is ₦2,000. Payment can be made at the following banks:
- ABSU Microfinance Bank, Uturu
- Signature Bank
- First Bank
- Eco Bank
- Zenith Bank
- Fidelity Bank
- Union Bank
- UBA
You may also pay online using your debit card.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
Candidates must upload:
- UTME score
- O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB, etc.)
- A’Level or degree results (for DE candidates)
Additionally, ensure that your O’Level results are also uploaded to the JAMB portal. Your application will only be valid if both platforms reflect the same information.
Step 4: Await Screening Updates
While the university has not announced a specific date for the screening exercise, applicants are advised to regularly check their email and the ABSU portal for updates.
