How to Apply for FUKASHERE Postgraduate Admission
Applicants are required to complete their applications online through the FUKASHERE postgraduate application portal.

- Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000.
- Create an account using your email address as the username and choose a password.
- Complete the online application form and submit it.
- Upload scanned copies of the required credentials.
- PhD applicants should also upload their research synopsis.

Applicants should ensure that their academic transcripts are sent to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Federal University of Kashere. Original documents will also be required during registration.
FUKASHERE Postgraduate Admission Requirements
Admission requirements vary according to the type of postgraduate programme being applied for. Candidates should ensure that they meet the requirements for their chosen programme.
All candidates are expected to have five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics. Applicants must also submit an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate along with their other credentials.
PhD Programmes
Candidates applying for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme must have an academic master’s degree from Federal University of Kashere or another recognised university.
FUKASHERE PhD programmes are available only on a full-time basis. Applicants must also submit a research synopsis with their application.
Academic Master’s Programmes
Applicants for academic master’s programmes must have at least a Second Class Lower Division degree from Federal University of Kashere or another recognised university.
A relevant postgraduate diploma with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, classified as Merit on a five-point scale, may also be accepted where the required university matriculation conditions for the relevant field are satisfied.
Professional Master’s Programmes
Candidates seeking admission into a professional master’s programme must have at least a Second Class Lower degree in the relevant field from Federal University of Kashere or another recognised university.
A relevant postgraduate diploma with at least a Merit classification may also be accepted, subject to the applicable requirements.
Candidates with at least a Second Class Upper Division degree in an unrelated field, together with relevant professional qualifications, may also be considered after completing the required qualifying process.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes
Applicants for PGD programmes must possess a qualification considered equivalent to a first degree, with at least a Third Class degree or higher.
A Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least Lower Credit, or its equivalent, may also be considered where the university’s matriculation requirements are satisfied.
