FUWUKARI Pre-Degree and Remedial Form 2026/2027. The School of Basic and Remedial Studies (SBRS), Federal University Wukari (FUWUKARI), has opened applications for its Pre-Degree and Remedial programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programmes are available to both Science and Arts applicants and are designed to prepare candidates for university admission through intensive academic training and JAMB preparation.
The programmes run for one academic session.
The FUWUKARI Pre-Degree and Remedial application form costs N5,000, while a separate two-week intensive JAMB coaching programme is available for N10,000.

FUWUKARI Pre-Degree Programme
The Pre-Degree programme is designed for O’Level Science and Arts students who want additional academic preparation before pursuing regular university degree programmes.
The programme provides intensive coaching based on the relevant Science and Arts curricula. It is intended to help candidates strengthen their academic qualifications and prepare for the examinations required for university admission.
The programme also focuses on analytical and independent learning, intellectual development, and improved oral and written communication skills.
Pre-Degree Science Requirements
Candidates applying for the Pre-Degree Science programme must have at least five O’Level credit passes in not more than two sittings.
The required subjects are:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
Pre-Degree Arts Requirements
Arts applicants must also have at least five O’Level credit passes in not more than two sittings.
The listed subjects include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Government
- Economics
- Civic Education
- Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) or Islamic Religious Knowledge (IRK)
- Literature in English
- Another relevant subject
FUWUKARI Remedial Programme
The Remedial programme is also available to Science and Arts applicants.
Unlike the Pre-Degree programme, the stated entry requirement for the Remedial programme is at least three relevant O’Level credits.
Remedial Science Requirements
Science applicants must have at least three O’Level credit passes from the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
Remedial Arts Requirements
Arts applicants must have at least three O’Level credit passes.
The credits must include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- One other Arts subject
FUWUKARI JAMB Coaching Programme
FUWUKARI also offers a two-week intensive JAMB coaching programme for intending JAMB candidates.
The JAMB coaching fee is N10,000.

The application form costs N5,000.
Applications are open from 7 September 2026 to 31 December 2026.

- Choose Federal University Wukari as first choice.
- Pass the FUWUKARI internal examination.
Meeting these conditions is required for eligibility for admission into a regular FUWUKARI degree programme.
