NDU Admission List 2026/2027: How to Check Niger Delta University Admission Status; Niger Delta University (NDU) has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates who participated in the Post-UTME screening exercise can now check whether they have been offered admission.

Candidates can check their admission status through the NDU admission portal using their JAMB registration number. Those who receive an admission offer are also required to access JAMB CAPS and accept the admission through the approved JAMB channels.

The school portal requires candidates to enter their JAMB registration number before their admission status can be displayed.

Candidates can check their NDU admission status through the following steps:

  1. Visit the NDU admission portal.
  2. Open the menu marked with the symbol.
  3. Select “Check Admission.”
  4. Enter your JAMB registration number.
  5. Click the “Check admission” button to view your NDU admission status.

Candidates who receive an admission offer on the NDU school portal must also confirm the offer through JAMB CAPS.

How to Check NDU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

The JAMB CAPS admission checking process involves the following steps:

  1. Visit the JAMB EFacility portal.
  2. Log in using your JAMB username and password.
  3. Select “Check Admission Status.”
  4. Select “Access my CAPS.”
  5. Open “Admission Status” to view the NDU admission decision.

JAMB CAPS Admission Status Meanings

Candidates may see different admission responses on JAMB CAPS while their admission is being processed.

Admission Offered

“Admission Offered” means that JAMB has approved the candidate’s admission.

Candidates who receive this status can proceed to accept or reject the admission offer through the stated JAMB channels.

Admission in Progress

“Admission in Progress,” also displayed as AIP, means that NDU has reviewed the candidate’s application and recommended the candidate for admission.

The recommendation is awaiting approval from the school head before JAMB completes its final review.

Recommended

“Recommended” means that NDU has considered the candidate for admission, but the application is still awaiting JAMB review to confirm that the required admission criteria have been met.

Not Admitted

“Not Admitted” means that the candidate has not yet been selected for admission.

This status may appear where the relevant admission list has not been released or where the application is still under review.

Pending

“Pending” means that the candidate’s admission application is still being reviewed and a final decision has not yet been made.

How to Accept or Reject NDU Admission

Candidates who have been offered admission are required to accept or reject the offer through biometrics at an approved JAMB CBT centre or through SMS.

For the SMS option, candidates should send either:

ACCEPT

or

REJECT

to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with JAMB.

The registered phone line must have up to ₦50 in its main airtime balance. Borrowed airtime or Xtra Credit will not be charged for the stated process.

JAMB Admission Letter After Accepting NDU Admission

Candidates who accept their NDU admission can proceed to print their JAMB admission letter.

The admission letter stage comes after the candidate has accepted the admission offer through the stated JAMB channel.

How to Access JAMB CAPS on a Mobile Phone

Some candidates who use a mobile phone to access JAMB CAPS may see only the welcome message instead of the complete admission options.

Candidates using Chrome can open the browser menu and select “Request desktop site”. This allows the complete CAPS page to be displayed.

Once the desktop view is enabled, candidates can access the admission status option.
