UNIDEL Admission List for 2026/2027 Session Released; The University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who applied for admission to the University of Delta can now check their admission status through the university’s admission portal using the login details they used during their application.
Candidates who have been offered admission are required to complete the university’s online clearance process and provide the necessary information before their JAMB Admission Letter can be approved.
How to Check the UNIDEL Admission List
Candidates can check their admission status through the University of Delta admission portal.
To check the admission status:
- Visit the UNIDEL admission portal.
- Log in using the username and password used during the application process.
- Go to the admission section.
- Check the admission status displayed on the candidate’s portal.
Candidates who have received an admission offer should proceed with the required online clearance.
It is important to complete the clearance process because the university requires it before the candidate’s JAMB Admission Letter can be approved.
UNIDEL Online Clearance Requirements
Candidates who have received an admission offer and have already initiated the online clearance process should return to their portal and provide the required information.
The information required includes:
- Examination scratch card serial number
- Examination scratch card e-PIN
- National Identification Number (NIN)
After providing the required information, candidates should request ONLINE CLEARANCE through the portal.
Candidates should ensure that the information supplied is accurate. Failure to complete the online clearance and provide the required documents may prevent approval of the candidate’s JAMB Admission Letter.
Upload O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS
Candidates are also required to upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS.
The O’Level result upload is compulsory for the approval of the JAMB Admission Letter.
Candidates should therefore log in to their JAMB profile and confirm that their required O’Level results are properly uploaded and available on JAMB CAPS.
Completing the UNIDEL clearance process does not remove the requirement to have the necessary O’Level results uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
UNIDEL Physical Documentation
After completing the online clearance, admitted candidates will proceed to the physical documentation stage.
The university stated that all admitted candidates are expected to complete their physical documentation in their respective faculties or departments after resumption.
The physical documentation is scheduled to commence on Monday, 14 September 2026.
Candidates should therefore complete their online clearance before proceeding for physical documentation after resumption.
How to Check UNIDEL Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Candidates should also confirm their admission status through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
To check the status:
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
- Log in using the candidate’s JAMB username and password.
- Select Check Admission Status.
- Select Access my CAPS.
- Open Admission Status.
- Check the admission decision displayed on the page.
The status shown on JAMB CAPS will indicate whether the candidate has been offered admission.
How to Accept or Reject UNIDEL Admission
Candidates who have received an admission offer are required to respond to the offer.
The candidate can accept or reject the admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT by SMS to 55019 or 66019.
The SMS must be sent using the same phone number that was used for the candidate’s JAMB registration.
Candidates who accept the admission offer should then proceed with the remaining admission requirements, including the necessary clearance and documentation processes.
They should also print their JAMB Admission Letter when it becomes available.
Candidates With “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted”
Some candidates may see “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted” when they check their admission status.
This does not necessarily mean that the admission process is completely over for such candidates. The admission list may be released in phases as more candidates are processed.
Candidates whose status remains Admission Still in Progress or Not Admitted should continue checking both the UNIDEL admission portal and JAMB CAPS for updates.
JAMB Admission Letter
Candidates who have accepted their admission should proceed to print their JAMB Admission Letter after completing the required admission processes.
However, candidates should note that UNIDEL requires the online clearance and necessary document uploads to be completed before the JAMB Admission Letter can be approved.
Candidates should therefore confirm that they have:
- Completed the UNIDEL online clearance.
- Provided the required clearance information.
- Uploaded their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS.
- Accepted the admission offer where applicable.
- Completed other outstanding admission requirements.
UNIDEL Admission Troubleshooting Guide
Portal Login Problem
If a candidate cannot access the admission page, the username and password entered should be checked carefully.
Candidates should return to the UNIDEL admission portal and ensure that they are using the correct login details used during their application.
Online Clearance Pending
If online clearance has not been completed, candidates should check that they have provided the required examination scratch card serial number, e-PIN and NIN.
They should then submit the information and request ONLINE CLEARANCE through the portal.
JAMB Admission Letter Not Approved
If the JAMB Admission Letter has not been approved, the candidate should check whether all required admission processes have been completed.
In particular, candidates should confirm that their UNIDEL online clearance has been completed and that their O’Level results have been uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
Any outstanding requirement should be completed before checking the admission letter again.
Admission Still in Progress or Not Admitted
Candidates whose JAMB CAPS status shows Admission Still in Progress or Not Admitted should continue checking their admission status.
Since the admission list may be released in phases, the status can change as the university processes additional admissions.
Final Note
The release of the UNIDEL admission list means candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 admission exercise can now begin checking their admission status.
Admitted candidates should not stop at seeing their names or receiving an admission offer. They should complete the required online clearance, O’Level result upload, JAMB admission acceptance and documentation processes to ensure that their admission is properly processed.
Physical documentation for admitted candidates is scheduled to begin on Monday, 14 September 2026.
Congratulations to all candidates offered admission into the University of Delta, Agbor for the 2026/2027 academic session.
