FUTA Post UTME/Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Admission; The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has commenced online registration for its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.

The screening exercise is open to candidates seeking undergraduate admission into all programmes offered by the university. Online registration began on Monday, 1 June 2026, and will close on Friday, 31 July 2026.

FUTA Post UTME/Direct Entry Registration Dates and Screening Fee

The online registration portal is open from Monday, 1 June 2026, to Friday, 31 July 2026.

The screening fee is ₦2,000 only, payable through the Remita platform after generating the required payment code.

Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as the university has stated that applicants who fail to register within the stipulated period will not be eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

Eligibility Requirements for FUTA Post UTME

To qualify for the 2026/2027 Post UTME screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Score a minimum of 180 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any equivalent examination.
Present O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings.

For Direct Entry applicants, FUTA must be selected as the first-choice institution on the JAMB portal before registration.

FUTA Age Requirement for Admission

Candidates applying for admission into FUTA must be at least 16 years old on or before 30 September 2026.

This age requirement applies to all applicants for the 2026/2027 academic session.

FUTA Restores MBBS Admission

The university has announced that admission into the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme, which was previously suspended, has been restored.

Qualified candidates who meet the admission requirements can now apply for the programme.

How to Apply for FUTA Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening

Candidates should complete their application online through the official FUTA admission portal by following these steps:

Visit the FUTA official website.
Generate the required payment code.
Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee through the Remita platform at any bank.
Return to the FUTA website after making payment.
Complete and submit the online application form.
Print a copy of the completed registration form for future reference.

Applicants should ensure they use their correct UTME Registration Number and full name exactly as it appears on their JAMB registration slip during payment and registration.

Important Registration Guidelines

FUTA has advised all eligible candidates to complete the online registration before the closing date.

Applicants must also upload their O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before Friday, 31 July 2026. Candidates who fail to upload their results on JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission.

The university also made it clear that participation in the screening exercise is compulsory. Any candidate who fails to participate will not be considered for admission into FUTA.
