LASUSTECH Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session; The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, has announced the commencement of its online Post UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The screening exercise is open to qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the university’s undergraduate programmes. All applications will be completed online through the LASUSTECH admission portal.

Eligibility for LASUSTECH Post UTME Screening

UTME candidates are eligible to participate in the screening exercise if they:

  • Chose Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
  • Scored a minimum of 195 in the 2026 UTME.
  • Possess the required O’Level credit passes for their chosen course.
  • Obtained the required O’Level credits in not more than two sittings.

Only candidates who meet all these requirements will be considered for the online screening exercise.

Eligibility for Direct Entry Screening

Direct Entry applicants seeking admission into LASUSTECH for the 2026/2027 academic session are also required to participate in the online screening exercise.

To qualify, candidates must:

  • Have obtained the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Direct Entry form.
  • Have selected Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first-choice institution.

Special Requirement for Lagos State Indigenes

Candidates claiming Lagos State origin for either 100 Level or Direct Entry admission must have successfully completed the verification process conducted by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) established by LASUSTECH.

Only candidates whose Lagos State origin has been verified by the committee will be allowed to participate in the online admission screening exercise.

LASUSTECH Post UTME Screening Fee

Applicants are required to pay the following fees:

  • Post UTME screening fee: ₦2,000
  • Administrative fee: ₦8,000

Payments must be made through the official LASUSTECH admission screening portal by following the prescribed application procedure.

Screening Registration Period

The LASUSTECH online admission screening portal will open as follows:

  • Opening Date: Wednesday, 1 July 2026, at 12:00 a.m.
  • Closing Date: Friday, 31 July 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late applications may not be accepted.

How to Apply for LASUSTECH Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening

Candidates should complete their application by following these steps:

  1. Visit the LASUSTECH admission screening portal.
  2. Pay the ₦2,000 Post UTME screening fee.
  3. Pay the ₦8,000 administrative fee.
  4. Follow the instructions provided on the portal to complete the admission application.
  5. Submit the online screening application before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 31 July 2026.

Applicants should ensure that all information entered during registration is accurate, as the screening exercise will be conducted entirely online.

O’Level Requirements

All applicants must satisfy the O’Level requirements for their chosen course before participating in the screening exercise.

Candidates are also required to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), as this is a mandatory requirement for admission processing.

Will There Be Physical Screening?

No. The LASUSTECH admission screening exercise is entirely online.

Candidates are not required to visit the university campus, as all screening activities will be completed through the official admission portal.

Important Things to Check Before Applying

Before beginning the application process, candidates should ensure that:

  • LASUSTECH is their first-choice institution.
  • They scored at least 195 in the 2026 UTME, where applicable.
  • Their O’Level subjects meet the requirements for their chosen course.
  • Their O’Level results have been uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
  • Direct Entry applicants have obtained the JAMB Direct Entry form and selected LASUSTECH as their first-choice institution.
  • Lagos State indigenes have successfully completed the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) verification process where applicable.
