FUEZ Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening 2026/2027; Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ) has announced the commencement of its physical credential screening exercise for candidates seeking undergraduate admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The screening exercise is open to candidates who selected Federal University of Education, Zaria as their first-choice institution and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry applicants.
Prepare for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, BECE, NCEE and Post-UTME examinations with the MySchoolGist CBT App and Software. The platform enables candidates to practise past questions on Android, iPhone and Windows devices anytime.

FUEZ Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Date
The physical credential screening exercise will begin on Monday, 29 June 2026.
Screening will commence daily from 10:00 a.m., and all eligible candidates will be attended to at the University’s Academic Office.
Screening Venue
The credential screening exercise will take place at the Academic Office of the Federal University of Education, Zaria.
Candidates are expected to appear in person with all the required documents and evidence of payment, as the exercise is strictly a physical screening process.
Eligibility for the FUEZ Screening Exercise
The screening exercise is open to:
- UTME candidates who selected Federal University of Education, Zaria as their first-choice institution.
- Candidates who scored 150 or above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the University.
What Candidates Should Do Before Attending the Screening
Before reporting for the physical screening exercise, candidates must create a profile on the University’s admission portal and complete the online application process.
Only candidates who have completed the online application will be eligible to proceed to the Academic Office for credential screening.
How to Apply and Prepare for the Screening Exercise
Candidates should follow these steps before attending the physical screening:
- Visit the FUEZ admission portal.
- Click “Online Application” to create an account.
- Log in to the newly created account.
- Update your profile and upload all required credentials.
- Generate payment for the EIDF/Credential Screening through Remita.
- Pay the required screening fee.
- Print the Expression of Interest Data Form.
- Proceed to the Academic Office for the physical credential screening.
FUEZ Screening Fee
The credential screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000).
Candidates must generate the payment through the University’s portal, complete payment via Remita, and present evidence of payment during the screening exercise.
Required Documents for the FUEZ Screening Exercise
Candidates must present the following documents during the physical credential screening:
- 2026 JAMB UTME e-registration slip and UTME result slip (for UTME candidates)
- 2026 Direct Entry registration slip (for Direct Entry candidates)
- Original O’Level statement of result or original certificate
- Printed Expression of Interest Data Form
- Evidence of payment of the ₦2,000 screening fee
- Evidence of O’Level result upload on JAMB CAPS from an accredited JAMB CBT centre
- Indigene certificate
- Birth certificate or Declaration of Age
- Two recent passport photographs
Candidates are advised to ensure that all documents are complete before attending the screening exercise.
Candidates Who Did Not Choose FUEZ as First Choice
Applicants who did not initially select Federal University of Education, Zaria as their first-choice institution but wish to study at the University are advised to visit any accredited JAMB CBT centre.
They should obtain a Change of Institution form, commonly known as the Green Card, and update their first-choice institution to Federal University of Education, Zaria through the JAMB portal before proceeding with the admission process.
Importance of O’Level Upload on JAMB CAPS
Candidates are required to provide evidence that their O’Level result has been uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) through an accredited JAMB CBT centre.
This enables the University to verify that the candidate’s academic records are correctly reflected on the JAMB admission platform.
Important Information for Candidates
Candidates are advised to comply fully with all the requirements for the screening exercise.
Anyone who reports for screening without the required documents or payment evidence may experience delays or be unable to complete the physical credential screening at the Academic Office.
Alternative Admission Through JUPEB/IJMB
Candidates who wish to secure direct entry admission into 200 Level may also consider admission through JUPEB or IJMB programmes.
These programmes provide an alternative route to university admission with relatively affordable fees.
