TASFUED Post UTME and Direct Entry Form 2026/2027; Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), now officially known as Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED), has announced the commencement of its Post UTME and Direct Entry online admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the University as regular undergraduate students through UTME into 100 Level or through Direct Entry. The online screening exercise is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission into Tai Solarin Federal University of Education.
Candidates are advised to complete their applications within the approved admission screening period, as late applications will not be considered.
TASFUED Post UTME Eligibility Requirements
The online admission screening exercise is open to candidates who meet the University’s admission requirements through UTME, Pre-Degree Studies (PDS), or Direct Entry.
To qualify through UTME, candidates must:
- Choose Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first-choice institution.
- Score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Be at least 16 years old on or before 1 October 2026.
Eligibility for Pre-Degree Studies Candidates
Candidates who completed the TASFUED Pre-Degree Studies (PDS) programme and wish to gain admission into the University for the 2026/2027 academic session are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
Such candidates must have:
- Selected TASFUED as their first-choice institution during UTME.
- Obtained a minimum UTME score of 160.
Eligibility for Direct Entry Candidates
All Direct Entry candidates, including TASFUED JUPEB candidates, seeking admission into the University for the 2026/2027 academic session are eligible for the screening exercise.
Direct Entry applicants must:
- Obtain the JAMB Direct Entry application form.
- Select Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first-choice institution.
Can Candidates Change Institution to TASFUED?
Candidates who participated in the 2026 UTME and scored 160 or above but did not initially choose TASFUED as their first-choice institution may still apply.
However, they must first complete a change of institution through JAMB and select Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first choice before the screening registration closes.

General Admission Requirements
All candidates must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in subjects relevant to their chosen course of study.
The credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
In addition, credit passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory for admission into all programmes offered by the University.
Applicants must also ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS before the admission screening exercise closes.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry candidates are required to submit the following documents to the Admission Office, TASFUED, Ijagun, immediately after completing the online screening process:
- A copy of the Online Admission Screening Report.
- A copy of the Notification of Diploma for TASFUED Diploma candidates or an NCE result.
How to Apply for TASFUED Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening
Candidates are required to complete their applications through the TASFUED admission portal.
Follow the steps below:
- Visit the University admission portal and click the “Apply Now” link.
- Read the application instructions carefully and click “Continue Admission.”
- Select Undergraduate Admission.
- Click “Apply” beside the Post-UTME/DE application option.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click the search button.
- Complete the required fields and create an account.
- Verify your email address using the verification link sent to your email.
- Save the login details sent to your email for future access.
- Pay the application fee through the online payment platform.
- After successful payment, provide all required screening information.
- Use the integrated O’Level Verification System to retrieve your O’Level result.
- Enter the Result Checker card details for the relevant examination body.
- Confirm that the correct result has been fetched.
- Use the Programme Advisor feature to assess eligibility for your preferred course.
- If you do not qualify for your first-choice course, click “Use Advisor.”
- Select “Check O’Level Qualification” to view programmes that match your UTME and O’Level subject combinations.
- Review all information carefully.
- Certify that the information provided is accurate.
- Submit the application.
- Print both the application slip and screening slip for future reference.
Only candidates who selected TASFUED as their first-choice institution or successfully changed to TASFUED through JAMB CAPS will be allowed to apply.
Information Retrieved from JAMB CAPS
The University portal automatically retrieves the following information from JAMB CAPS:
- Candidate biodata
- UTME subject combination
- UTME scores
- Programme choice
Candidates cannot modify these details on the University portal. Therefore, all information on JAMB CAPS should be verified before beginning the application process.
How TASFUED Screening and Grading Will Be Conducted
The admission screening exercise will be based on a point grading system.
Assessment will be determined using:
- UTME score
- SSCE or equivalent examination grades
- Five best relevant O’Level subjects related to the chosen programme
The University has integrated an O’Level Result Verification System and Programme Advisor module into the admission portal to facilitate accurate screening and course eligibility assessment.

TASFUED Post UTME Registration Deadline
The online screening registration will commence on Tuesday, 23 June 2026 and close on Friday, 10 July 2026.
Candidates are advised to complete their registration, O’Level verification, and final submission before the closing date.
