
BUK Post UTME Screening Form 2026/2027; Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced the commencement of its Post UTME online screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The screening exercise is open to candidates who applied for undergraduate admission through the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
According to the University, the online screening registration will run from Friday, 19 June 2026 to Sunday, 16 August 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their registration within the specified period to avoid disqualification from the admission process.
Who Is Eligible for BUK Post UTME Screening?
Candidates who selected Bayero University, Kano as their first-choice institution and obtained the required minimum UTME score for their chosen programme are eligible to participate in the online screening exercise.
Since admission requirements vary by programme, applicants are advised to check the approved cut-off mark for their intended course before proceeding with registration and payment.

How to Apply for BUK Post UTME Screening
Candidates are required to complete their registration through the Bayero University online screening portal accessible from the University’s official website.
Applicants should click on the “2026 UTME Online Screening Exercise” link displayed on the homepage.
BUK Post UTME Registration Procedure
To complete the registration successfully, candidates should follow the steps below:
- Visit the Bayero University website.
- Click on the “2026 UTME Online Screening Exercise” link on the homepage.
- Log in using your UTME Registration Number as the username.
- Enter your UTME aggregate score as the password.
- Complete the profile update form with the required information.
- Generate and download the BUK Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI).
- Use the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) on the invoice to pay the screening fee.
- After successful payment, print the acknowledgement slip.
- Candidates who pay through a commercial bank should return to the portal and click the “Check Your Payment” button.
- After payment confirmation, print the acknowledgement card.
Candidates should note that the passport photograph uploaded during JAMB registration will serve as their official identification photograph throughout their period of study at Bayero University if admitted. Therefore, all registration details should be treated as official admission records.
BUK Post UTME Screening Fee
The Post UTME screening fee is ₦2,000.
Payment can be made using any of the following methods:
- Debit card
- Credit card
- Internet banking
- Payment at any commercial bank nationwide
The generated Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI) will contain the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) required for payment.
What to Do After Bank Payment
Candidates who choose to pay through a commercial bank must return to the screening portal and use the “Check Your Payment” option to validate the transaction.
Once payment has been successfully confirmed, the acknowledgement card can be printed.
O’Level Result Upload Requirements
Applicants are advised to visit any JAMB office or accredited CBT centre to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS.
Accepted examination bodies include:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
- NBAIS
- Other approved equivalent qualifications
The University has stated that only candidates whose O’Level results have been uploaded on JAMB CAPS can be recommended to JAMB for admission approval.
Candidates may present a maximum of two O’Level examination results.
Important Registration Guidelines
Candidates are expected to provide accurate information during registration. Any false information discovered at any stage of the admission process may lead to disqualification.
Before submitting the application, candidates should ensure that:
- Bayero University, Kano is selected as their first-choice institution.
- Their UTME score meets the approved cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
- O’Level results have been uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
- No more than two O’Level examination results have been presented.
- Payment has been confirmed before printing the acknowledgement card.

Exemption from the Aptitude Test
Blind candidates and foreign applicants are exempted from the aptitude test.
However, they are still required to complete the online screening registration within the stipulated timeframe.
Deadline for BUK Post UTME Registration
The online screening exercise commenced on Friday, 19 June 2026 and will close on Sunday, 16 August 2026.
Candidates who fail to register within this period will not be considered for admission screening.
