IMAP Opens Post-UTME and Pre-ND Admission for 2026/2027 Academic Session; Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP), Lafia, Nasarawa State, formerly known as Nasarawa State Polytechnic, has commenced registration for its 2026/2027 admission exercises.

The Polytechnic is currently accepting applications for:

  • National Diploma (ND) admission through the Post-UTME screening exercise
  • Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) admission programme

Candidates seeking admission into either programme are advised to review the requirements, available courses, application procedures and deadlines before applying.

IMAP Post-UTME Screening for ND Admission

Who Can Apply?

Candidates who:

  • Chose Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia as their first choice institution in the 2026 UTME
  • Scored 110 and above in the 2026 UTME
  • Possess at least five O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics
  • Obtained the required credits in not more than two sittings

Candidates Who Did Not Choose IMAP

Candidates who did not select IMAP as their first-choice institution but wish to gain admission into the Polytechnic are encouraged to visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre and change their institution of first choice to Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia.

The same applies to candidates who wish to switch to any of the newly introduced programmes offered by the Polytechnic.

Screening Fee

The Post-UTME screening fee is ₦2,000 only.

All payments are non-refundable.

Closing Date

The Post-UTME portal will close on Sunday, 1 September 2026, at midnight.

Candidates should complete registration before the deadline.

  2. Confirm eligibility based on UTME score and O’Level results.
  3. Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 online.

IMAP Pre-ND Admission for 2026/2027 Session

What Is the Pre-ND Programme?

The Pre-ND Programme is a preparatory academic route designed for candidates who wish to build the foundational knowledge required for National Diploma studies.

Students are admitted into a Pre-ND course related to their intended field of study before progressing to higher-level programmes.

Who Can Apply?

Interested candidates may apply for Pre-ND admission through the Polytechnic’s online portal.

A JAMB score is not required for admission into the Pre-ND programme.

Applicants are only required to:

  • Complete the online application form
  • Upload required credentials
  • Submit the application online

Application Fee

The Pre-ND application fee is ₦4,322.

All payments are non-refundable.

Closing Date

The Pre-ND application portal will also close on Sunday, 1 September 2026, at midnight.

Applicants are advised to complete their applications before the deadline.
