Who Can Apply for FUTES-IYIN Post UTME?
Candidates who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for the 2026/2027 Post UTME screening exercise:
- Must have chosen FUTES-IYIN as their first-choice institution.
- Must have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Must have scored at least 160 in the UTME.
Candidates who selected FUTES-IYIN as a second-choice institution or did not choose the university during JAMB registration are advised to change their institution to FUTES-IYIN as their first choice through JAMB CAPS before the Post UTME registration deadline.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Direct Entry candidates are also eligible to apply for admission.
Applicants seeking admission through Direct Entry must:
- Select FUTES-IYIN as their first-choice institution.
- Complete the required registration process before the deadline.
The university also allows interested candidates to begin registration through the “OTHER” Choice option on the admission portal. However, such applicants must still complete a Change of Institution to FUTES-IYIN on JAMB CAPS before registration closes.
O’Level Requirements for Admission
Applicants must possess a minimum of five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects obtained in not more than two sittings.
The required credits must include:
- English Language
- Mathematics

Applicants are required to upload a passport photograph during the registration process.
The passport photograph must:
- Not exceed 100 kilobytes in size.
- Be clear and suitable for official records.
