Eligible candidates are expected to complete the online self-screening process within the official registration window via the university portal.

Who is eligible for LASU Post UTME screening?
Candidates qualify for LASU screening if they:
- Chose LASU as first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored 195 and above
- Are at least 16 years old by 1 October 2026
- Meet all departmental and O’Level requirements
Can LASU Pre-Degree Studies students apply?
Yes. Pre-Degree Studies (PDS) candidates who completed LASU programmes may apply if:
- LASU was selected as first choice in UTME
- They scored 195 and above
Who is eligible for Direct Entry?
Direct Entry candidates are eligible if they:
- Applied through JAMB Direct Entry
- Selected LASU as first choice
- Possess LASU Diploma or NCE (only NCE is accepted into Education-related programmes)
LASU also notes that only LASU Diploma is acceptable for most DE admission routes, except specified Education cases.
How does Lagos State origin verification affect screening?
Candidates of Lagos State origin (100 and 200 level applicants) must have completed verification with the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC).
Verification status is automatically assessed during screening.
What is the LASU Post UTME cut-off mark for 2026/2027?
The minimum UTME score for LASU admission screening is 195.
Candidates below this score are not eligible for the screening exercise.
When will LASU Post UTME registration close?
Registration runs for 21 days, from:
- Start date: 3 June 2026
- Deadline: 23 June 2026 (12 midnight)

What should LASU Direct Entry candidates submit?
Direct Entry candidates must submit:
- Admission Screening Report (printed copy)
- Diploma (LASU Diploma) or NCE result notification
Documents should be submitted at the Admission Annex/Liaison Office, Room 7, Administrative Block II.
How can candidates pay for LASU Post UTME / DE screening?
Payment is completed via the LASU portal:
- Visit LASU website
- Click “Student” → “New Applicants”
- Select UTME/DE Screening portal
- Enter UTME registration number and surname
- Click “Make Payment”
- Provide JAMB registration number
- Select “Admission Screening Fee”
- Choose campus: Ojo
- Select category: Student
- Complete payment
- Return to dashboard
- Enter Transaction ID
- Proceed with screening form
Each correction or resubmission requires a new payment.
How can candidates complete LASU self-screening form?
Step 1: Return to portal
Log back into the screening portal after payment.
Step 2: Enter Transaction ID
Login using UTME number and surname, then input Transaction ID.
Step 3: Fill personal details
Candidates must provide:
Surname, First name, Middle name, DOB, Gender, Country, State, LGA, email, phone number, contact address, parent/guardian details, and disability status.
Then select course and O’Level details.
Step 4: Preview and certify
Candidates must confirm all entries and certify accuracy before proceeding.
Step 5: Download result
After submission, candidates can download their screening result using UTME number.
What O’Level requirements apply to LASU admission?
- Minimum of five credits in relevant subjects
- Maximum of two sittings allowed
- Medicine and Dentistry require one sitting only
- English Language is compulsory for all courses
What O’Level rule applies to Engineering candidates?
Engineering applicants using two sittings must have six O’Level credits, including:
- Mathematics
- Physics

Does Aeronautic and Astronautic Engineering require Further Mathematics?
Yes. It requires a credit pass in Further Mathematics.
