Federal Polytechnic Nekede Post UTME Screening for 2026/2027 ND Full-Time Admission; Federal Polytechnic Nekede has announced the commencement of its Post UTME screening exercise for admission into National Diploma (ND) full-time programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The screening exercise is open to candidates who selected the polytechnic as either their first or second choice in the 2026 UTME and scored at least 100 in the examination.

Interested applicants are required to submit their details online for the screening process.

Details Required for Screening

Candidates are expected to provide the following information during the online screening process:

  • O’Level results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB
  • 2026 UTME score
  • JAMB subject combination for the chosen course

According to the notice, applicants are required to pay a screening fee of ₦5,000 through the Remita platform at any commercial bank nationwide.

Entry Requirements for ND Programmes

Candidates applying for National Diploma admission must possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, NECO, or NABTEB examinations.

Applicants must also meet the correct JAMB subject combination requirements for their chosen course. Full admission requirements for all courses are available on the official Federal Polytechnic Nekede website.

How to Apply for Federal Polytechnic Nekede Post UTME Form

Applicants are to complete the application online. Candidates can carry out the process from any location without travelling to Owerri.

Follow the steps below to apply:

  1. Visit the Federal Polytechnic Nekede invoice generation portal.
  2. Fill in the biodata form.
  3. Generate an invoice and either print it out or copy the invoice number.
  4. Make payment through Remita using the RRR number on the invoice.
  5. Return to the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Post JAMB application portal.
  6. Complete the application form.
  7. Submit all required details.
  8. Print the acknowledgement slip.

The payment instructions in the notice also state that candidates should pay ₦2,000 through Remita at Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any bank of their choice.

Applicants using Verve, Visa, or MasterCard can also pay online and immediately return to the portal to print their receipt and acknowledgement slip.

JAMB and O’Level Upload Guidelines

Candidates who did not initially choose any of the listed courses are advised to make a change of course and upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal through any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.

Applicants who selected Federal Polytechnic Nekede as their second or third choice institution must change it to first choice before they can be considered for admission.

Such candidates must also upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal.

Reasons Candidates May Be Disqualified

Any inconsistency in the following details can lead to disqualification:

  • O’Level grades
  • JAMB score
  • JAMB registration number

Providing incorrect information during the application process may also result in disqualification.

Candidates are therefore advised to carefully review all entries before submitting their application.
