PAMO University of Medical Sciences Admission for 2026/2027 Academic Session; Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into full-time undergraduate degree programmes at PAMO University of Medical Sciences for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Interested applicants are encouraged to apply for admission into various medical and health science programmes offered by the university.
Admission Requirements
UTME Candidates
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must have sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
- Must have chosen PAMO University of Medical Sciences as first choice institution
- Must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent) in not more than two sittings
- Required subjects include:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Must have a minimum UTME score of 170 and above
MBBS Programme Requirement
Candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) must:
- Possess the same required O’Level subjects listed above
- Obtain a minimum UTME score of 220 and above
All candidates must upload their WAEC/NECO results (or equivalent) on the JAMB CAPS portal.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are eligible if they:
- Selected PAMO University of Medical Sciences as first choice in JAMB
- Are willing to apply and process a Change of Institution to make PUMS first choice via the JAMB portal
- Are awaiting SSCE results, provided they meet requirements once results are released
International applicants are advised to follow JAMB-approved admission guidelines for Nigerian universities.

How to Apply for PUMS Admission
Applicants are to follow the steps below:
Step 1: Visit the University Website
PAMO University of Medical Sciences Admission Portal
Step 2: Online Application
- Click on “Apply Online” under the Admissions menu
- Enter your JAMB number and click “Check Eligibility”
- If verified, proceed to complete the application form
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following:
- O’Level result (WAEC/NECO or equivalent)
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Local Government of Origin certificate
- Letter of attestation or reference
Step 4: Payment Process
- Click on “Make Payment”
- Generate account details
- Pay the application fee of ₦10,000 via bank transfer or deposit
- Upload proof of payment
After successful payment, candidates should complete submission and print the clearance form.
Post-UTME Screening
Candidates should prepare for a mandatory screening exercise.
The official screening date will be announced later by the university.
