Mercy Medical University Admission for 2026/2027 Academic Session; Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into undergraduate degree programmes at Mercy Medical University for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Mode of Admission
UTME Candidates
All prospective candidates must have participated in the 2026 UTME examination and obtained a minimum score of 150.
Applicants are also required to:
- Choose Mercy Medical University as their first choice institution in JAMB, or
- Apply for a Change of Institution through a JAMB accredited CBT centre or JAMB office
O’Level Requirements
Candidates must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
Direct Entry Admission
Direct Entry candidates must obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form and possess the required five O’Level credits in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
The results must not exceed two sittings.
Applicants must also possess any of the following qualifications:
- IJMB
- JUBEP
- National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit
- Degree in relevant courses from recognised universities with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2)
- Cambridge Advanced Level qualification
Inter-University Transfer Admission
Mercy Medical University also offers inter-university transfer admission into 200 Level across all degree programmes.
Method of Application
Candidates who selected Mercy Medical University as their first choice institution during the 2026 UTME are required to visit the university admission portal to complete their application.
Applicants who did not initially choose the university but are interested in applying should first process a Change of Institution to Mercy Medical University through a JAMB accredited CBT centre or JAMB office before proceeding with the online application.

What Happens After Submission
After successfully completing the online application, candidates will receive a confirmation message through their email address.

Admission is based on online screening of candidates’ results and credentials, and the screening process is not physical.
