Zeribe Nwosu Foundation 2026 Essay Competition for Nigerian Students and NYSC Members; Zeribe Nwosu Foundation has announced the commencement of entries for its 2026 Essay Competition.
The competition gives Nigerian undergraduates and members of the National Youth Service Corps the opportunity to discuss challenges affecting the education sector while competing for cash prizes worth ₦160,000.
ZNF Essay Competition Topic
The topic for the 2026 essay competition is:
“Student-Lecturer Conflicts: Potential Causes and Solutions.”
Participants are expected to examine the factors responsible for conflicts between students and lecturers and also provide practical solutions that can help reduce or address the issue within tertiary institutions.
Who Can Apply for the ZNF Essay Competition 2026?
The competition is open to:
- Nigerian undergraduates currently studying in recognised tertiary institutions
- NYSC corps members who will still be actively serving as of 31 May 2026
The foundation stated that each applicant is allowed to submit only one essay entry.
Zeribe Nwosu Foundation Essay Competition Prizes
The foundation announced five prize categories for outstanding entries.
The prize breakdown is as follows:
- First Prize – ₦75,000
- Second Prize – ₦50,000
- Third Prize – ₦25,000
- Two Honourable Mentions – ₦10,000 each
The total prize value for the competition stands at ₦160,000.

Participants are required to submit an original essay containing not more than 2,000 words.
The foundation also directed applicants to follow these formatting rules:
- Font type – Arial
- Font size – 12
- Line spacing – 1.5
- Submission limit – One entry per applicant
