ATBU Announces Sale of Change of Course Forms for 2025/2026; Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has officially announced the commencement of the sale of Change of Course Forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise will begin on 8th December 2025, as outlined in an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics).
The memo, referenced ATBU/DVC/ACAD/08 and dated 1st December 2025, provides detailed guidelines for all candidates seeking to change their course of study.
Guidelines for Changing Courses at ATBU
- Seek Departmental Advice: Candidates must consult both their current (releasing) Head of Department and the intended (receiving) Head of Department before completing the application form.
- Obtain Form Details: Applicants should collect change of course details from the Secretary, DVC Academics Office.
- Required Documents: Candidates must attach their admission letter and second semester results, except those who deferred their semester.
- CGPA Requirements: Eligible candidates must have a CGPA between 0.25 and 1.80, except for applicants to the College of Medical Sciences and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which are exempt.
- Payment of Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₦10,000 is to be paid at ATBU Microfinance Bank, Yelwa/Gubi Campus.
- Form Submission: Only forms obtained directly from the DVC Academics Office, accompanied by the attached remita and original receipt, will be accepted.
