MAUTECH Issues Important Notice to Newly Admitted Students on NELFUND Application Process; Modibbo Adama University, Yola (MAUTECH), has released an internal memo to all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session regarding the correct procedure for applying to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
According to the memo signed by the Acting Director of ICT, Dr. Munzali A. Abana, all new students are required to complete an institutional data capture form before beginning their NELFUND loan application. This mandatory step allows the University to upload each student’s biodata and admission details to the official NELFUND server.
How to Complete the Institutional Data Capture
Students have been instructed to:
- Scan the QR code included in the official announcement, or
- Click the provided link to access the institutional data capture form.
The University emphasizes that all information submitted must be filled in accurately to avoid delays or complications.
Important Clarification on the Process
MAUTECH highlighted that completing the institutional form does not serve as the student’s NELFUND loan application. Instead, this step only authorizes the University to upload a student’s verified details to NELFUND.
Once this upload is completed successfully, students will then be able to access the official NELFUND portal to submit their actual loan application.
