Bayero University Kano Adjusts Second Semester Calendar for 2025/2026; The Management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced an important adjustment to the Second Semester academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session.
Calendar Adjustment
The University has cancelled the mid-semester break and merged it with the Christmas and New Year holidays.
As a result:
- The Christmas and New Year break will now commence on 22nd December 2025
- Students are expected to resume on 10th January 2026 instead of the original date of 3rd January 2026
This extended break is intended to compensate for the cancelled mid-semester break.
Students are advised to take note of this adjustment and plan accordingly.
