FUTA Announces 2025/2026 Orientation Programme for Newly Admitted Students; The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), through its Students Affairs Division, has released the schedule for the 2025/2026 Orientation Programme for all newly admitted students.
According to the notice, the orientation will run from Monday, 1st December to Sunday, 7th December 2025, with all activities taking place at the Obafemi Awolowo Auditorium, Obanla, starting at 8:30 a.m. daily.
Purpose of the Orientation Programme
The programme is designed to:
- Introduce fresh students to the academic, social, and administrative structures of the university
- Provide essential guidance to help students settle smoothly into university life
The university has emphasized that attendance is mandatory for all newly admitted students to ensure they fully benefit from the orientation activities.
