OOU Announces Closure of 2025/2026 Admission Exercise and Important Instructions for Newly Admitted Students; The Management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has officially announced the closure of its 2025/2026 admission exercise, releasing key dates and directives for all newly admitted candidates.
Matriculation Ceremony Date
The university has scheduled its Matriculation Ceremony for:
Tuesday, 16th December 2025
All newly admitted students are expected to have completed every required step before this date.
Deadline for Payments
OOU has fixed Friday, 28th November 2025 as the final deadline for the completion of all required payments, including:
- Acceptance Fee
- School Fees
The management emphasized that failure to make these payments on or before the deadline will lead to:
Exclusion from the Matriculation List
Automatic forfeiture of admission
Submission of Matriculation List to JAMB
In compliance with JAMB regulations, OOU will forward its official Matriculation List to JAMB on:
Tuesday, 2nd December 2025
This follows JAMB’s mandatory two-week notification window before any matriculation event.
Important Note for Candidates Yet to Accept Admission
Candidates who have been offered admission on JAMB CAPS but have not yet accepted it are strongly advised to:
- Log in to JAMB CAPS immediately
- Accept their admission
- Print their JAMB Admission Letter
- Complete all OOU required payments before the deadline
Failure to comply will result in loss of admission for the 2025/2026 academic session.
