UNIMAID Announces 25th Combined Convocation and Golden Jubilee Celebration; The University of Maiduguri has officially announced the date for its 25th Combined Convocation Ceremony alongside its Golden Jubilee Celebration. According to a statement released by the Office of the Registrar on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the ceremony is scheduled to hold on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Convocation Square, University of Maiduguri.
Graduating Sessions Included
The event will feature the convocation of graduates from the following academic sessions:
- 2021/2022
- 2022/2023
- 2023/2024
This includes both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Collection of Academic Gowns
Graduates are instructed to collect their academic gowns from their respective Colleges and Faculties starting Monday, November 17, 2025.
To obtain the gown, each graduand must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 at the Unimaid Microfinance Bank before proceeding for collection.
A Landmark Celebration
The Registrar urged all graduates and members of the university community to participate actively in this historic event, which marks 50 years of academic excellence at the University of Maiduguri.
