UNICAL Extends 2025/2026 Admission Exercise; The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced an extension of its 2025/2026 admission exercise, following a directive from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
According to a memo released by the Office of the Registrar on November 4, 2025, the deadline for the admission exercise has now been extended to November 17, 2025.
The memo, signed by Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka I. Icha, Registrar, encourages all suitable and qualified candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME to submit their requests for admission into the following programmes:
Available Programmes for Admission
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Education
- Department of Religious and Cultural Studies
- Department of Modern Languages and Translation Studies
- Department of Mathematics
- Department of Statistics
Candidates should note that programmes not listed in the memo are currently unavailable for admission.
This extension is aimed at providing more qualified candidates the opportunity to secure admission into UNICAL for the 2025/2026 academic session
