Al-Istiqama University announces admission into newly approved programmes 2025/2026; The Management of Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU), Kano State, has officially announced the approval of twenty-two (22) new undergraduate degree programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
According to a release dated 5th November 2025, the newly accredited programmes span across several faculties, including Arts, Social and Management Sciences; Basic Medical Sciences; Clinical Sciences; Engineering and Environmental Sciences; Health Sciences; Law; and Science and Computing.
This major academic expansion demonstrates AUSU’s continuous commitment to providing diverse and globally relevant educational opportunities for Nigerian students.
Admission into Newly Approved Programmes – 2025/2026 Academic Session
Prospective candidates who participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and possess the appropriate subject combinations are invited to apply for admission.
Applicants can also change their institution of choice to Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila via the JAMB portal to be eligible for admission into any of the approved programmes.
