MAUTECH Notice to UTME Candidates Yet to Be Admitted for the 2025/2026 Session; Sequel to the extension of the deadline for admission into Public Institutions by JAMB, the Admission Office of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola is calling on all applicants not yet admitted in over-subscribed programmes to immediately change to programmes with similar JAMB subject combinations and O’Level requirements that still have available admission spaces.

Any staff or applicant making an admission request must ensure that candidates are transferred to programmes with available spaces appropriately before submitting further requests.

Applicants not yet admitted but who meet the requirements for their chosen programmes should verify that their O’Level results are correctly uploaded on the JAMB portal.
Also, applicants who have changed or transferred from one programme to another should recheck their profiles to ensure their O’Level results remain intact after the transfer.

1	MBBS, Nursing, Microbiology, Laboratory Technology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences	Agric Economics & Extension, Crop Production and Horticulture, Fisheries, Soil Science, Food Science and Technology, Wildlife, Animal Science and Range Management (Limited), Biotechnology, Plant Science, Geology, and other programmes with similar requirements
2	Computer Science	Operation Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematics with Economics, Physics, Chemistry, and other related programmes. DE candidates not admitted in Computer Science should also transfer as above.
3	Electrical Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering	Electrical Engineering, Agricultural and Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Electronic Tech Education, Construction Tech Education, and related programmes.
4	Architecture	Survey and Geoinformatics, Industrial Design, Building. Those with Mathematics and Geography in JAMB can change to Urban and Regional Planning. DE students in Architecture can only be admitted into Geography.
5	Law	Political Science, Sociology, Library and Information Science, and other related programmes. Applicants without Government in JAMB or O’Level can only change to Library and Information Science.
6	Accounting, Economics, Management Technology, Banking and Finance, Information Technology, and Business Education (without Mathematics and Economics in JAMB and O’Level)	Political Science, Sociology (for those with Government in JAMB and O’Level), and Library and Information Science. Candidates in Information Technology with science-based JAMB subjects but without Economics and Mathematics should switch to programmes that fit their combinations.
