2026 University of Pécs Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship; The University of Pécs Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity established by the Government of Hungary to support outstanding international students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral studies.
The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance, and monthly stipends for the duration of the program.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be international students from eligible countries (non-Hungarian citizens).
- Apply for an eligible Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program at the University of Pécs.
- Meet the entry requirements for their chosen program.
- Be at least 18 years old by August 2026.
- Submit all required application documents on or before the deadline.
Scholarship Benefits
1. Tuition-Free Education:
- Full exemption from tuition fees for the entire duration of study.
2. Monthly Stipend:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, and One-Tier Master’s Students:
HUF 43,700/month (approx. €110) for living expenses. - Doctoral Students:
HUF 140,000/month (approx. €350) for living expenses.
3. Accommodation Support:
- Free dormitory placement or
- Monthly housing contribution of HUF 40,000 throughout the scholarship period.
4. Medical Insurance:
- Access to Hungarian national health care services (Act No. 80 of 1997).
- Supplementary medical insurance up to HUF 65,000/year per person.
