RSUST announces clearance exercise for new students 2025/2026; The management of Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has released the official schedule for the clearance exercise of all newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement issued on 3rd November 2025 and signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Ibimonia B. S. Harry, the physical clearance exercise for candidates offered provisional admission into Year One and Direct Entry programmes will take place as follows:
Clearance Schedule
- Date: Wednesday, 5th November – Friday, 7th November 2025
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily
- Venue: Information, Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC), RSU Main Campus
- Continuation: Clearance will later proceed at the respective faculties.
Required Documents for Clearance
All fresh students are expected to present the following:
- Admission Letter from JAMB
- Original JAMB Result Slip
- Accepted Admission Status printout from JAMB CAPS
- Original O’Level Certificates (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent)
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Local Government Identification Letter
- Acceptance Fee Receipt
- Other necessary printouts from the RSU Student Portal

Candidates are strongly advised to:
- Strictly adhere to the schedule and venue assigned.
- Come along with original copies and two photocopies of all required documents.
- Complete the clearance process promptly to secure their admission status.
