LASU Notice to Returning Undergraduate Students on Mandatory NIN Submission; The Lagos State University (LASU) has issued an important notice to all returning full-time undergraduate students regarding the mandatory submission of their National Identification Number (NIN).
The university emphasized that the NIN is now a compulsory national identity requirement for all Nigerian citizens. Consequently, LASU is mandated to validate and authenticate students’ records using their NIN to ensure the integrity and accuracy of institutional data.
Important Notice
All returning full-time undergraduate students are required to submit or verify their NIN details immediately by following the procedure below:
How to Submit or Correct Your NIN
- Visit the official LASU website: www.lasu.edu.ng
- Navigate to the STUDENT tab and click on NIN Submission.
- Enter your Matriculation Number and Course Registration Password, then click Login.
- Carefully input your NIN, or verify and correct it if it has been previously submitted, then submit.
Deadline
All NIN submissions must be completed within 48 hours, starting from Wednesday, 22nd October 2025 to Friday, 24th October 2025.
Failure to comply within the stipulated timeframe may affect your student records and other institutional processes tied to student verification.
