TASUED appoints Acting Vice Chancellor; The Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) has officially announced the appointment of Professor Adekunle Olanrewaju Adeogun, the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor, as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the institution.
This decision was made during an emergency meeting of the University Council held on 22nd October 2025. Professor Adeogun’s appointment will take effect from 4th November 2025, following the completion of the tenure of the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwole Banjo.
In an official statement, the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwole Banjo, on behalf of the entire university community, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Professor Adeogun. He also offered prayers for divine guidance, wisdom, and success as the new Acting Vice-Chancellor assumes his responsibilities.
The university community and stakeholders have expressed optimism that Professor Adeogun’s leadership will continue to promote academic excellence, innovation, and institutional growth at TASUED.
