UNN Opens Application for Advertised Courses (Shopping) for 2025/2026 Admissions. The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced the commencement of the Application for Advertised Courses (also known as Shopping) for candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 UTME but have not yet been offered admission into any programme.

According to the notice, interested candidates who scored 160 and above in both UTME and UNN Post-UTME Screening are eligible to apply for available slots in the listed departments.

Application Procedure for UNN Advertised Courses

  1. Visit the UNN website at unn.edu.ng or the UNN Portal at unnportal.edu.ng.
  2. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number to generate and download a payment invoice with a Remita Number.
  3. Proceed to any commercial bank to pay a ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) Advert/Shopping processing fee.
    • Ensure that the Invoice Number is correctly entered at the bank.
    • Collect a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
  4. Return to the UNN portal and log in using your JAMB Registration Number and Invoice Number to complete the online application form.

Important Dates and Guidelines

  • Application Opens: Monday, October 20, 2025
  • Application Closes: Friday, October 24, 2025
  • Candidates must meet the departmental entry requirements and have the correct UTME subject combination for their chosen course.
  • Candidates admitted through this process will not be allowed to switch to another programme during the 2025/2026 academic year.
