UNN Releases Primary Admission List for 2025/2026 Session. The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Primary Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the university’s Post-UTME screening exercise can now check their admission status.
The list of successfully admitted candidates has been published in a PDF document, which can be accessed on the university’s official platforms.
Instructions for Candidates Offered Provisional Admission
Candidates offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka are required to carefully follow the steps below to complete their admission process:
- Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Visit the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng.
- Click on “Accept Admission” to confirm your offer.
- Note that any candidate who fails to accept the offer on JAMB CAPS will not be issued an official JAMB Admission Letter and will be regarded as not admitted.
- Generate Payment Invoice
- Visit the University of Nigeria website www.unn.edu.ng or the student portal unnportal.edu.ng.
- Log in using your JAMB Registration Number to generate a Payment Invoice that contains a Remita (RRR) number.
- This invoice will be used to make payments at any commercial bank, including the UNN Microfinance Bank.
- Pay Acceptance Fee
- Using the generated invoice, pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000) only.
- Ensure that your invoice number is entered correctly at the bank.
- Collect a confirmation slip that includes both your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
- Print Admission Slip and Complete Acceptance Form
- Return to the UNN portal and log in again using your JAMB Registration Number, Confirmation Number, and Invoice Number.
- Print your Admission Slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.
- Proceed with Registration and Other Payments
- Follow the subsequent steps outlined on the University of Nigeria website to complete all necessary fee payments and registration procedures.
Important Notice to All Admitted Candidates
All admissions at this stage are provisional. The university reserves the right to withdraw the admission of any candidate who, at any point (including final year), is found not to possess the minimum entry requirements as prescribed by the University Senate and published in the JAMB Brochure.
Candidates are strongly advised to verify their admission status, accept the offer on JAMB CAPS, and complete all registration processes promptly to avoid disqualification.
