BUK Postgraduate Admission Form 2025/2026. Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has officially announced the commencement of the online sale of postgraduate application forms for the 2025/2026 academic session, which began on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
All interested applicants—both Nigerian and international—are invited to apply for various postgraduate programmes by visiting the official university portal: https://mybuk3.buk.edu.ng/cpsforms2025/login.php.
Important Information
- Application Fee:
The cost of the application form is ₦12,000 (Twelve Thousand Naira) only. This amount includes administrative charges. - Application Duration:
The online sale and submission of forms will run from Monday, September 22, 2025, to Sunday, February 1, 2026. - Entry Requirements:
Applicants must ensure they meet the entry requirements for their chosen programme, including five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, English Language and Mathematics inclusive. - Ph.D., M.Phil, and Academic Masters Applicants:

- Title
- Statement of the problem
- Objectives of the study

How to Apply
Follow the steps below to successfully complete your application:
STEP 1:
Visit https://mybuk3.buk.edu.ng/cpsforms2025/login.php.
Under the “Prospective Student” tab, click “Applications” on the homepage.
Log in using your full name and select “Applying for a Postgraduate Programme.”
A username and password will be automatically generated—note these carefully, as they are required for all subsequent steps.
STEP 2:
Log in to your new account and generate/print your BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF).
The non-refundable application fee of ₦12,000 must be paid via the Remita e-Payments and e-Collection platform (www.remita.net).
Ensure all details on your BUKPPF are entered exactly as displayed, including:
- Name of MDA
- Name of Service/Purpose Description
- Amount to Pay (₦)
- Application No.
- BUKPPF ID
- Payer’s Full Name
- Payer’s Email
- Payer’s Phone Number
Note: Even if someone else makes the payment on your behalf, all details must reflect the applicant’s information (name, email, and phone number).
STEP 3:
After successful payment, return to the application portal and log in with your username and password.
Fill in all required forms:
- Programme Selection Form
- Personal Data Form
- Qualifications Form
STEP 4:
Applicants for Ph.D., M.Phil, and Academic Masters programmes must also complete the Transcript Request Form (in addition to the above forms) and forward it to their previous institutions for processing.
STEP 5:
Review your completed forms carefully to ensure all details are correct, then click ‘SUBMIT’ to finalize your application.
STEP 6:
Once submitted, an Acknowledgement Slip will be automatically generated. Print and keep it safe—this document will be required during admission letter collection and registration.
After Admission
Successful candidates must present the following documents during the screening exercise:
- NYSC Discharge Certificate, Exemption, or Exclusion Letter
- Other academic credentials as specified by the university
