NMU Admission List for 2025/2026 Now Available on JAMB CAPS. The management of the Nigerian Maritime University (NMU) has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who participated in the screening exercise can now check their names on the provisional list of successful applicants via the JAMB CAPS portal.
How to Check Your Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
- Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in with your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
- If admitted, you will see your photo displayed along with a congratulatory message.
- If not yet admitted, you will see the message: “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting Your Admission
- Candidates offered admission should Accept or Reject the offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
- Those without access to their registered phone numbers must visit a JAMB-accredited centre to carry out this process.
- Admitted candidates are expected to respond within 4 weeks, after which the offer may lapse.
Printing Your Admission Letter
After accepting the admission, candidates should print their JAMB admission letter, as it will be required for clearance and registration at the university.
Important Note for Mobile Users
If you are checking CAPS with a phone, you may only see the welcome message without the admission status option. To view the full page:
- Use the Chrome browser
- Select “Request Desktop Site” from the options menu
This will allow you to access the complete CAPS features and check your admission status properly.
