Gombe State College of Nursing Sciences Admission Forms for 2025/2026 Academic Session; The management of the Gombe State College of Nursing Sciences, popularly known as the College of Nursing and Midwifery, wishes to inform the general public, particularly prospective applicants, that the online sales of admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session will commence soon.

The admission is open into the following three (3) programmes:

1. Post Basic Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing – Two (2) Years

Eligibility:

Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) with a current practicing licence.

2. Post Basic Public Health Nursing – Two (2) Years

Eligibility:

Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) with a current practicing licence.

3. ND/HND Nursing – Four (4) Years

Eligibility:

Applicants must be between 16–35 years of age at the time of admission.
Must be physically fit.
Must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2025 UTME (JAMB) and selected the College as first choice institution.
Must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SAISSCE/NBAIS, or NABTEB with at least five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
Important: NABTEB results cannot be combined with any other result. If using NABTEB, all required five (5) credits must be from NABTEB alone.
Candidates must upload their O’level results to the JAMB CAPS portal at a JAMB Office or accredited CBT Centre.

Method of Application

All interested applicants should:

Visit the College portal at https://portal.consgombe.edu.ng.
Create an account with a valid email and phone number.
Select the desired programme.
Make payment through the designated payment platform using any bank of choice:
- Post Basic HND Nursing / Post Basic Public Health Nursing: ₦20,000 (non-refundable)
- ND/HND Nursing: ₦5,000 (non-refundable)
  (Note: fees exclude e-service charges).
Complete the online application form and upload all required documents.
Print the application slip and completed application form after successful registration.
Submit the completed form with two (2) recent passport-size photographs to the ICT Unit of the College immediately.

Commencement and Closing Dates

Sales of Admission Forms Begin: Monday, 15th September 2025
Sales End: Midnight of Thursday, 25th September 2025
Deadline for Submission of Completed Forms: Friday, 26th September 2025

Note: There will be no extension of the sales period.

Physical Screening and Oral Interview

Dates: Thursday, 2nd – Friday, 3rd October 2025
Requirements:
- Post Basic Programme applicants must present original copies of Notification of Registration as RN or RM with a current practicing licence.
- ND/HND Nursing applicants must present only O’level result print-outs downloaded directly from the official websites of WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, etc., alongside original credentials.
