Northwest University Kano Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025; orthwest University, Kano, has announced the commencement of online registration for the 2025 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise. This is for candidates who chose the institution as their first choice in the 2025 UTME or Direct Entry applications through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The online registration will take place via the University website www.nwu.edu.ng from Monday, 15th September 2025 to Sunday, 28th September 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Chosen Northwest University, Kano as their first choice.
- Obtained a minimum of five (5) credits including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE or its equivalent, in not more than two sittings (applicable to both UTME and DE candidates).
- Scored the minimum cut-off points required for the chosen programme as specified by the University.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates Requirements
DE candidates must:
- Possess the 2025 Direct Entry (DE) Online Registration Slip.
- Have obtained any of the following: National Diploma (ND), LIMB, or NCE.
- Attain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for Science-based ND programmes and 3.5 for Arts-based ND programmes.
- Score at least 9 points in NCE.
- Obtain a minimum of 7 points in Science-based IJMB programmes and 8 points in Arts and Social Science-based IJMB programmes.
Registration Guidelines
- Candidates are to visit the University’s website www.nwu.edu.ng and click on the “2025 Admission Portal” link.
- Generate a NABROLL payment invoice from the portal and make an online payment, or proceed to any bank nationwide to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only as the screening charge.
- After payment, return to the portal to complete the registration and print the Acknowledgment Slip, which must be presented along with other required credentials during the Aptitude Test or Direct Entry Screening.
