Kogi State Polytechnic Releases Approved Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session; The Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, at its emergency meeting held on Monday, 4th September 2025, approved the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the official release from the Director of Academic Planning, the resumption date for new and returning students (except those on SIWES) is scheduled for Monday, 15th September 2025, while students currently on SIWES are expected to resume on Monday, 8th December 2025.
Key Dates in the Approved Calendar
- Resumption Date (New & Returning Students): Monday, 15th September 2025
- Resumption Date (SIWES Students): Monday, 8th December 2025
- Registration Period: 15th September – 10th October 2025
- Late Registration (₦5,000 penalty): 13th – 17th October 2025
- Orientation & Matriculation for New Students: 27th – 29th October 2025
