UNIMED Inter-University Transfer Admission Form for 2025/2026 Academic Session; The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, Ondo State, established in 2014, is the first specialized university of medical sciences in Nigeria. The institution is committed to fostering excellence in teaching, research, and service delivery across all health science disciplines.
Since inception, UNIMED has distinguished itself as one of the few public universities in Nigeria with a stable, uninterrupted academic calendar and consistently high-quality educational standards.
The University now invites eligible candidates to apply for Inter-University Transfer into the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
1. Special Information for All Applicants
i. Applicants must not have been out of active academic activities for more than one year.
ii. A non-refundable application fee of ₦30,000.00 is required.
iii. Applicants must submit triplicate copies of the completed Application Form.
iv. Only clear, properly signed, and legible documents will be considered.
v. The applicant’s academic transcript must be sent directly by the Registrar of the former university to the Registrar, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo.
vi. Transfers are strictly course-to-course. Change of discipline is not allowed.
vii. Completed forms must be returned to the Academic Affairs Division, UNIMED within two weeks of collection.
viii. The University reserves the right to conduct background checks on all applicants.
2. Method of Application
Prospective candidates should register online by visiting the official university website: www.unimed.edu.ng.
- Click on INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER under the ADMISSION menu.
- Fill out the online registration form.
- Print out the application form after successful registration.
- Complete the printed form manually as required.
3. Student Supporting Documents
Applicants must attach the following documents to their completed application form and submit to the Academic Affairs Division:
i. ‘O’ Level Results used for admission into the former university.
ii. UTME Result (must not be below 180).
iii. Academic Transcript (official copy must be forwarded directly from the former university to the Registrar, UNIMED).
iv. Any other relevant documents (e.g., health report, awards, prizes, etc.).
4. Application Fee
The Inter-University Transfer application attracts a non-refundable fee of ₦250,000.00.
5. Mode of Payment
- All payments must be made strictly through the UNIMED Payment Platform on the official website www.unimed.edu.ng.
- Click Admission → Inter-University Transfer and follow the instructions.
- Payments can only be made using VISA or MasterCard. Verve cards are not accepted.
