This prestigious and fully funded scholarship supports exceptional graduates and professionals from developing and emerging economies, giving them the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford.

  • A living cost grant of at least £20,780 per year.
  • Full funding for the entire duration of the recipient’s fee liability for their chosen course.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Apply for a new graduate course at Oxford University.
  2. Intend to return to their country of ordinary residence after completing the programme.
  3. Be able to demonstrate a clear connection between their chosen field of study and long-term career goals. Applicants should also show how their future professional work will contribute to the improvement of public life in their country, region, or globally.
  4. Note: Current Oxford students are not eligible, except those who are already Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholars.

Scholarship Value

  • Course Fees: Fully covered.
  • Living Costs: At least £20,780 annually.
  • Duration: Full funding for the entire duration of the course fee liability.
